GENERAL RULES !

• No inappropriate avatars. The size limit for avatars, though it says '100 x '100, is actually 120 x 250. If any avatar goes over this limit and stretches the board or is inappropriate, it will be resized/removed without warning.
  
  
• You must be 13 years of age or older to join this forum, as per ProBoards Policy. If I find out you are younger than 13, you will be banned. Rules are rules.
  
  
• If you join, please stay active. I can't force anyone to log in and post often, but it's only common courtesy to do so if you join a site.
  
  
• This is an intermediate-advanced roleplay, and writing standards are quite high here. So, you are expected to be able to write at high-school level or better. If a staff member sees that your writing could use some improvement and addresses it, please do not be offended or take it personally. If you would like any help with RPing, feel free to ask a staff member.
  
  
• After you join, you have 7 days (or one week) to post a completed character biography. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to delete your account (unless you posted an absence notice beforehand.)
  
  
• You may have as many characters as you like, as long as ALL of them are kept active. Just don't go too crazy; three or four characters is fine, but twelve is simply ludicrous.
  
  
• You must wait for your character to be accepted before roleplaying! But don't worry, the process isn't long at all. As long as you followed the rules, your character should be accepted in no time. Please note that some species must be purchased from the Shop to be RPed. Look here to see what species are currently listed (it can be updated, so the list can change.) Also, Please read this thread as well before you create a Character!
  
  
• You are responsible for registering your character's Name and everything else associated with character listings.
  
  
• Respect everyone on the site: Staff, Members, even Guests. We are all here for the same reason, and that is to have fun. Nobody here deserves to be disrespected in any way, shape or form.
  
  
• Absolutely no fighting, spamming, flaming, rudeness, and everything else related to the above. I will not tolerate any of this, and there is no need for it to begin with.
  
  
• Cursing is allowed only In-Character, and even then should be kept to a minimum. I personally hate cursing, because I know and hope you do as well that there's a better way of expressing emotion than dropping twenty-thousand f-bombs.
  
  
• Plagiarism is a serious no-no. I have absolutely no tolerance for theft, be it stolen art or copying someone else's writing. You will be banned immediately upon discovery. So don't do it.
  
  
• This site is rated PG-13. I do not want to see graphic anything, and I'm sure nobody else does either. If I find any material above this rating, it will be deleted immediately and the person who posted it will be banned.
  
  
• Have fun! This is a game after all, so don't take anything too seriously. c:

IC RULES !

• The minimum word count is 200 words. But always keep this in mind: quality over quantity. Correct grammar and spelling is also expected in every post. If you cannot fulfill any of the above, then this might not be the site for you.
  
  
• Posts are only to be written in third person, past tense. If you don't know what this means, then you really shouldn't be writing.
  
  
• Liquid Time is allowed. This means your character can be in multiple threads at the same time. Make sure you don't go overboard with this.
  
  
• NO Godmodding or Powerplaying! No character is invincible, and controlling another member's character is not allowed unless you are given permission.
  
  
• No Mary Sue / Gary Stu characters. Really, this shouldn't even have to be said. Nobody is perfect, nobody is the most pretty, cheerful, friendly, popular person in the whole world, and everyone has their flaws. To be honest, more people will be interested in meeting your character if they aren't perfect.
  
  
• Breeding and offspring are allowed, but graphic anything is STRICTLY prohibited. For more detailed guidelines, please visit this thread.
  
  
• Please keep chatspeak for the cbox. I don't want to see anything like 'liek, omg, wat up??!!11!" in anybody's IC posts. And even outside of roleplay, keep chatspeak to a minimum.
  
  
• Just to make this extra clear, nothing above PG-13 is allowed here. If you're not sure if what you're posting could be categorized as PG-13, then just don't post it.
