FIGHTING RULES !

• Any character can fight, regardless of gender or species. (However, the species match-ups have to be fair. No songbirds fighting polar bears, please.)
  
• Fights can be over almost anything.
  
• You cannot challenge the rank of Royal or any Military ranks. You may challenge for any other rank.
  
• Your character must get injured somehow, and characters cannot be killed unless permission clearly specified by the character's creator.
  
• It is up to the parties involved to decide word counts, attack/dodge limits, etc.
  
• There must have been an In-Character post/thread with the challenge leading up to the fight.
  
• Staff will judge the fight based partly on what happens in the fight thread, but mostly on post quality (spelling, grammar, style, etc).
  
• If a defender has not answered a challenge after three days, and said defender's player has not posted an absence notice, then the fight is automatically won by the challenger.
  
• If either challenger has not replied to their fight thread after three days, and the players have not posted an absence notice, then the fight is automatically won by the opponent.
  

A sample of what the first post should look like is below. You can add rules if you wish, but the below information is required.

attacks per post: Minimum 2
dodges per post: Minimum 1
word limit per post: Can be as low or high as you wish.
posts per player: The fight can be as long or short as you wish, but there has to be a post limit somewhere.

MEMBER NAME will begin the fight with CHARACTER NAME.
